A new report from Atlas VPN provider states that the number of hackings related to cryptovoltaic and blockage currencies in the first half of 2020 was more than three times lower than in the same period in 2019.

According to Atlas VPN, 2019 was a record year for hackers – they conducted 94 successful attacks in the first half of the year, compared to only 31 in the first half of 2020. A total of 133 successful attacks were recorded in 2019.

„We can expect more hackings by the end of the year, but historical data show that 2020 will not reach the record highs of the previous year and the number of hackings will continue to decline,“ analysts say.

According to the report, since 2009, hackers have stolen $13.6 billion as a result of 330 break-ins. Attacks on decentralised applications at the EOS Block Cell have become record-breaking in the number of hackings.
